For this activity, we woke up early in the morning and went to the park near our school. The weather was beautiful and the flowers were vibrant. We both took a nature walk and examined the plants more closely with our magnifying glasses. We also collected the waste in the park and put them in the recycling bins at our school. It was a very exciting and beautiful day. We did not forget to have a picnic during our activity. It was great to start the day with breakfast with our friends.

As part of our eTwinning project, our students played the interactive online game “Energy Hunters” to raise awareness about energy efficiency and conservation. While exploring virtual environments, they identified energy-wasting behaviors and learned how to make more responsible energy choices in daily life. This engaging activity helped students connect digital learning with real-world actions, empowering them to become more conscious and responsible digital citizens.

As part of our eTwinning project, our students designed and built their own terrariums — miniature, self-sustaining ecosystems enclosed in glass containers. Through this creative and hands-on activity, students explored the natural balance of air, water, and soil, and discovered how plants can thrive in closed environments with minimal human intervention. This experience not only deepened their understanding of ecological cycles, but also encouraged them to reflect on sustainability, environmental care, and the beauty of preserving nature in even the smallest spaces.

As part of the “Waste Reduction Marathon” in our eTwinning project, students actively collected and sorted school-generated waste at its source. They categorized the materials into separate bins for paper, plastic, and glass, learning the importance of responsible consumption and proper recycling practices. This hands-on activity not only raised awareness about waste management but also empowered students to take real steps toward a cleaner, more sustainable environment starting right from their own school

As part of our eTwinning project’s “Water Hero” challenge, we encouraged students and their families to reduce water usage through a 7-day interactive awareness campaign. Each day, students responded to specific questions designed to promote water-saving habits, such as shorter showers, reusing water, or turning off taps while brushing their teeth. With daily reflection and family participation, the activity strengthened not only environmental responsibility but also collaboration between home and school. Our students didn’t just learn about saving water — they became true water heroes in action!
